A WEEK OF EVENTS NOT TO BE MISSED
Not long now!
We said that a year ago when we were running around looking for materials, furniture and various accessories to open our Egro' in Camden Passage.
It was the very first days of November 2021 when my daughter Germana came to visit me in London and asked "but are you really going to open on 19 November?
Of course!
And so it was.
Egro' the first authentic Italian Experiential Grocery opened in Angel.
Now our first birthday is approaching, and we have decided to celebrate it for a whole week, from 14 to 20 November.
Every day of that week something special will happen in our Egro'.
Here is the calendar.
14th November. Monday. There will be a live, open-door talk on Food and Sustainability. What does it mean for all of us?
We will talk about it with important guests and experts, and together with you who would like to participate. From 6 pm onwards.
15th November. Tuesday. It's Italian pastry day at Egro'. And with our pastry chef Mario you can learn the secrets of Italian cakes and get your hands in the dough. Book your place now.
16th November. Wednesday. We want to dedicate it to those who have art in their blood. And wants to share their passion with others. So from 4 o'clock in the afternoon, in Egro', we will welcome artistic talents. Hot chocolate for everyone!
17th November. Thursday. Do you know what the most famous Italian aperitifs are? Have you ever tasted a historic vermouth? And do you know that there are "amari" that make you digest at the end of a meal but you can also use them for some incredible cocktails? You will learn this with our expert Miriam during Italian Spirits Rituals.
18th November. Friday. We go to Piedmont and do a tasting of the best wines from Piedmont. Barolo, Barbera, Dolcetto d'Alba and a unique Roero Arnais. Together with sommelier Giusy it will be an exciting wine tasting.
19th November. Saturday. What's in fashion? A day with Italian designers to discover styles and how to personalise your style. It will be fun for everyone. And of course we'll celebrate with a beautiful cake to be shared among all those present!
20th November. Sunday. Music and Spaghetti for everyone!
Some events are free, others like the pastry class, the Italian Spirit Rituals and the wine tasting must be booked in advance. Places are limited.
